Basic policy
We recognize that personally identifiable information ("personal information") is important not only to our employees but also to our customers and should be handled appropriately, and we will protect our customers' information and earn their trust by complying with our personal information protection management system and by handling personal information accurately and safely. We will protect personal information and live up to the trust our customers have placed in us.

Acquisition, use and provision of personal information
Customer information will be collected through a prescribed application form or via the Internet, in which the purpose of use is clearly indicated, and will be handled appropriately in accordance with prescribed rules to ensure that it is not used for any other purpose in the acquisition, use, and provision of personal information, as well as to establish a management system for the protection of personal information in accordance with each actual business situation.

Implementation of safety measures
To ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information, we implement information security measures and other safety measures at each step of the process, and strive to prevent and correct leaks, loss, or damage of personal information.

Respect for the rights of customers and employees
We respect the rights of our customers and employees with respect to their personal information, and will respond to requests from customers and employees to disclose, correct, or delete their own information, or to refuse to use or provide their own information, as well as complaints and consultations, to the extent reasonable in light of socially accepted norms and practices.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations
We will comply with laws, regulations, and other rules applicable to the protection of personal information in the handling of personal information. We will continuously improve our personal information protection management system to conform to these laws, regulations, and other standards.

Data processing services, and other printing and shipping services that include personal information.

The STC APASL 2024 Research Committee would like to invite you to submit your written abstract, which will be considered either for oral or poster presentation.

Official Language

All presentations at The STC APASL 2024 will be in English.

Structure of Abstracts

Abstracts should be comprised of the following elements, with each section entered separately:

1. Title

The abstract title should be in initial capital/lowercase, not all capitals. The title should be limited to 25 words.

1. Author details and Affiliation

Author’s names should be supplied in the surname-first format and should be in initial capital/lowercase and not all capitals. Email addresses should be supplied to all authors. All affiliations should contain the department, institution, city, and country.

1. Abstract Text

The body of the abstract should be written using the following headings: Introduction, Objectives, Methods (may include subheadings such as Subjects/Participants Intervention/s, Outcome measure, etc, if necessary), Results, and Conclusion. Use standard abbreviations (spell out in full at first mention, add abbreviations in parenthesis). Use numerals for numbers. Abstracts should be limited to a maximum of 250 words. Only online format submission of abstracts will be accepted.

1. Format

Use abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears. Please use only Times New Roman font. The font size should be 10. The abstract must be submitted in Microsoft Office Word file format (doc or docx).

 Abstract submission to The STC APASL 2024 is ONLINE ONLY.

• To update your submitted abstract, please log in to your account and click “Call for Abstract”.
• Select the abstract category you want to choose
• Also choose the category of Oral Presentation, Poster Presentation, or Oral and Poster presentation
• Then click submit abstract

ELIGIBILITY AND RULES

 Which abstracts are Eligible for Submission?

• The Research Committee will only accept original scientific material, that has not been published as an article or has been accepted for publication (including manuscripts) in printed or electronic formats upon the submission deadline. However, abstracts presented at local, regional, or national meetings may be submitted.
• The case report is acceptable
• Abstracts may be selected for oral or poster presentation at STC APASL 2024.

 Abstract Selection

• All abstracts will undergo review by the Research Committee.
• All abstracts will be scored by peer review based on the scientific merit according to the categories.
• The committee will determine whether abstracts will be accepted as oral or poster presentations with consideration to be given to the author’s preference.

 Abstract Withdrawal

• STC APASL 2024 will withdraw an abstract upon written request from the submitting author.
• withdrawal requests must be made by ( ). After this date, STC APASL 2024 cannot guarantee that a withdrawn abstract will be excluded from publication.
• Requests to withdraw an abstract must contain the submitting author’s name, abstract title, and abstract ID number. To withdraw an abstract, please contact  stcapasl2024@gmail.com.
• Abstract participants who have not registered until the late deadline,  then the abstract will be withdrawn.
• If the accepted abstract has not paid the registration fee until the conference date, the accepted status of the abstract will be canceled.
• Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment to present at STC APASL 2024.
• All presenters must register to attend the meeting. If the presenting author is NOT able to attend, either the submitting or presenting author must contact  stcapasl2024@gmail.com with the name of a co-author who presented the paper at the meeting. Only authors listed on the abstracts at the time of submission are eligible to present an abstract.

Publication

Abstracts selected for oral and poster presentation at STC APASL 2024 will be published and displayed in the Venue.

 Notification

• Presenting authors will be notified of the results of their abstracts via email.
• The results of the accepted abstracts will also be published on the website. It is the responsibility of the presenting author to notify any co-authors of the decision.
• Presenting authors must formally accept their invitations to present by (Ddmmyy). If an invitation remains unanswered after this date, the abstract may be withdrawn.
• If the abstract has been uploaded and the participant has registered, but the participant is unable to attend, then the participant must inform the committee of The STC APASL 2024.
• Participants with accepted abstracts will only need to pay the early bird registration fee.
